Orion begins as a light char — just enough flame to open the Cypress grain and develop character — then gets two coats of white-pigmented penetrating oil. The result is a warm, luminous finish that sits between natural wood and whitewash. The grain reads through the white, giving it depth that painted wood never achieves.
Hand-burned, brushed, and finished in our Georgia workshop. Works on ceilings, in shiplap applications, and anywhere you want the warmth of wood without the visual weight of darker tones.
How We Build It
3/4" solid Cypress, 6" wide, random lengths 8'–16'. Interior or exterior. Nickel gap, shiplap, or T&G.
Also available in 8" width. Char depth and finish can be specified.
