Orion — Cypress Shou Sugi Ban

Orion begins as a light char — just enough flame to open the Cypress grain and develop character — then receives two coats of white-pigmented penetrating oil. The result is a warm, luminous finish that sits between natural wood and whitewash. The grain reads through the white, giving it depth that painted wood can never achieve.

Works beautifully on ceilings, in shiplap applications, and anywhere you want the warmth of wood without the visual weight of darker tones. Coastal, transitional, and Scandinavian-influenced interiors.
