Carbon — Cypress Shou Sugi Ban

The darkest expression of our Shou Sugi Ban process. Carbon undergoes full carbonization — a prolonged, controlled burn that converts the surface to pure char. After brushing, what remains is a deeply black surface with subtle bronze iridescence and dramatic grain relief. No two boards are identical.

Carbon is the choice for interiors that mean it. Statement walls, ceiling installations, and architectural feature panels. Pairs with raw concrete, aged steel, and natural stone.
